R6 Stats — Privacy Policy

R6 Stats is an unofficial companion app for viewing Rainbow Six Siege statistics. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, and who it goes to. It covers the iOS app and the API that serves it.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details.

What you give us

• A Ubisoft username. You type in the player you want to follow. It is stored on your device so the app can reopen on that profile, and it is sent to our API to look up that player's statistics. Those statistics are already public — the same figures Ubisoft publishes for any player.

What is collected automatically

• Purchase history. If you subscribe, RevenueCat records which subscription you hold so the app knows whether to unlock Pro. It is tied to a randomly generated identifier, not to you — the app never sends RevenueCat a user ID, so the account is anonymous. Apple, not us, handles your payment; we never see card details.
• A push notification token. If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging issues a device token which we store so we can send the alerts you asked for. It identifies a device install, not a person, and it changes when you reinstall.
• Crash and performance diagnostics. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us the crash trace, the device model, and the OS version so the bug can be fixed. Diagnostics are disabled entirely in development builds.

What we do not do

• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework.
• We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, health data, microphone, or camera. The app requests no such permission.
• We do not build advertising or marketing profiles.

Who processes data for us

Three providers, each acting only on our instructions:

• Apple — subscription billing and App Store delivery.
• RevenueCat — subscription status.
• Google Firebase — push delivery, crash reporting, and remote configuration.

How long it is kept

Push tokens are kept while the install is active and are removed once a token stops being valid. Crash reports are retained by Firebase on its standard schedule. Subscription records are kept by RevenueCat for as long as the subscription and its billing history are relevant. The username you entered lives on your device and is erased when you delete the app.

Children

R6 Stats is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your choices

• Turn off notifications in iOS Settings at any time; the token stops being used.
• Delete the app to remove everything stored on your device.
• Manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store, or from Settings → Manage subscription in the app.
• Deleting the app, turning off notifications, and cancelling a subscription between them clear or stop everything described above; there is nothing tied to a name or an account left to request.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it and the updated policy appears at this address.
